Director: Fili Seifert
Fili took his basic interest in the cinematic narrative in high school, which later led Fili into Danish film and television. After graduating to become a camera operator and editor, Fili wrote and directed short films with success.


He won, as the only one to date, two awards out of four in the Danish Video Marathon 2005. He also positioned himself among the best of 36 directors, out of 3600, in an international film competition in 2008.


Today, Fili works getting his first feature film through, along with award-winning producer Thomas Yong.

Producer: Thomas Yong
Thomas Yong was born in Seoul, but grew up in Denmark. After studying at Tel Aviv University, he returned to Denmark where he worked for TDC for a number of years. After earning his graduate degree in International Business at Copenhagen Business School, Thomas moved to New York. In New York he founded Shouting Cow Productions - an independent film and TV production company. And with Shouting Cow Productions, Thomas produced a number of short films and TV projects.


It was also in New York, where Thomas produced his first feature film TIE A YELLOW RIBBON directed by Joy Dietrich which later won 4 awards for Best Film at international film festivals and was shown at over 30 international film festivals.


When Thomas returned to Denmark in 2008, he continued to produce and produced the short film A CHILD. When he got accepted as a producer at Super16, he produced both YOU’RE THE BEST directed by Ask Hasselbalch and MEGAHEAVY directed by Fenar Ahmad.


MEGAHEAVY won a Robert award for Best Short Fiction and was also selected for the Generation 14plus competition at the Berlin International Film Festival.


At present Thomas is working on his thesis film with Ask Hasselbalch, and develops several feature films projects for his Shouting Cow Productions.

Lars graduated from The Danish Film School's as a Director of Photography in 2003. Since then, Lars has worked both in corporate films, commercials, music videos and art films. But it is storytelling in fiction and documentaries that really interests him.

Lars has worked on many documentaries including TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG - PORTRAIT OF LOTTE SVENDSEN directed by Theis Molin, TIM CHRISTENSEN - FROM ROSKILDE TWO ABBEY ROAD directed by Theis Molin, ROMEO & JULIET directed by Sabine Hviid and SKUESPILLER HUS PÅ KANTEN directed by Ole Stenum.

 

He has also shot numerous short films including SCENES FROM A BED directed by Sofie Stougaard, MALLORCA directed by Marianne Blicher, LILLE LISE directed by Benjamin Holmsteen who won a Robert Award by the Danish Film Academy for Best Short Fiction in 2006 and LES AMES MEURTRIES directed by Benjamin Holmsteen.

 

He has shot 2 feature films. The controversial film AFR directed by Morten Hartz Kapples which was nominated for a Bodil Award for Best Danish Film by the Danish Press in 2008 and in 2007 it won the Tiger Award for Best Film at the prestigious film festival in Rotterdam.

 

And in New York Lars shot the award-winning film TIE A YELLOW RIBBON (2007) directed by Joy Dietrich and produced by Thomas Yong.

 

 

Production Designer Knirke Madelung

Production Designer: Knirke Madelung
Knirke Madelung graduated from Denmark's Design School's Institute for Space in 1997. Knirke has worked both designing exhibitions and fairs, and was in charge for the functional artistic design at Ålykkeskolen in Kolding. Following various print campaigns including: Poy Poy and interior design and styling for By Malene Birger, Knirke has found her niche in Art Direction, Set Design and Production Design for film and TV.

 

Besides having worked as an Art Director for many theatre productions including RONJA RØVERDATTER directed by Ole Møllegaard at Odense Theatre and GODS at theater Får 302 directed by Charlotte Sachs Bostrup, Knirke has also worked on many TV series and programs including the popular TV-series MAX and BARDA for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. Knirke has also worked very closely as Production Designer on director Lotte Svendsen's films: ROYAL BLUES, STAND BY YOUR MAN, MAX EMBARRASSING, and MAX EMBARRASSING 2.

 

Knirke has been nominated 2 times for a Robert award by the Danish Film Akademy for Best Production Design in both 2004 and 2009 for BABY directed by Linda Wendel and Max EMBARRASSING directed by Lotte Svendsen.
